Dr. Josh Prefontaine

Dr. Prefontaine holds a diploma from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a registered member of the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta. He has advanced training in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Pulse Diagnosis, Balance Method Acupuncture, and has completed a residency in TCM Gynaecology.

Dr. Prefontaine operates his practice in Lethbridge, AB, focusing on chronic menstrual conditions, digestive disorders, and chronic pain; working with patients who have not found lasting relief through conventional care. His approach combines precise diagnosis with individualized herbal prescriptions and acupuncture to address the root causes of complex, long-standing conditions.
